On 21st October, between 2 and 4pm, we have Judi Graham in Dereham Windmill demonstrating dry clay modelling to children (they can join in if they like!)
We have had record number of children visit Santa in Dereham Windmills wonderful Grotto…170 over the 2 afternoons so far!
We are open again this weekend on Saturday the 17th and Sunday the 18th from 12:30 to 4pm….then the last time Santa will be us before he goes on his magical journey is on the 23rd December between 12:30 and 4pm.
The new building, which will include toilets and a coffee shop/meeting room is currently being roofed and much interest has been shown from both the local community and visitors to the Grade 2 Listed Windmill Community Exhibition centre.
Once open, the venue will mean that a far wider audience can use the versatile facility, join in the events and enjoy the exhibitions held both in the Windmill and on the surrounding land.
The Windmill is open for visitors on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays from 10:30am 3:30pm….the current exhibition is by the Princes Trust.
More volunteers are always welcome to join in this succesful project and if anyone could spare 2 and a half hours per month, please ring 01362 691164.
